Avila Beach Memorial Day Weekend
The El Camino Art Association’s weekly art show held on the promenade offers beachgoers a cultural alternative to complement nature’s playground. Gay Melody Sullivan, a painter who captures the colorful settings of the central coast with the eye of a modern-day Degas, reminds us that we are surrounded by beauty worthy of great art.

What Better Place For Mother’s Day Than Avila Beach?
With a cool breeze flowing into the harbor and mothers with kids of all ages in tow, Avila Beach became the ideal location to spend Mother’s Day. Happy ice cream-smeared faces, an art show on the promenade, kites fluttering in the sky with the gulls, these were just a few of the sights shared on another extraordinary day on California’s central coast.

Under The Sea
The weekly art show on the promenade presented by the El Camino Art Association is underway, showcasing local artists with their original works available for sale. One of our favorite artists is Thomas Morton, a resident of twenty years whose images capture the blissful light and tone of this little slice of heaven.
